15th issue. Special: "Public Areas"

The concern over issues pertaining on the city's public image and the citizens' daily life is obvious, interesting and constant. Thus, the 15th En Volo special focuses on the major, and always current, topic of the town's public areas. The special's articles, written by people with a deep understanding of these matters, aim to enhance this topic from a point of concern to a rather constructive discussion.

Open areas, parks and squares, streets, public access buildings, monuments, street traffic, recent interventions in the town's public image, and the residents' views, mark this multi-aspect topic, discussed under the supervision of the Architectural College of Thessaloniki urban planning professor Vilma Hastaoglou with the cooperation of the Architectural Association of Magnesia.

Relevant to the special is the material of the two permanent columns of En Volo. In the column "Memento", some of the most extraordinary monuments of the old municipal cemetery appear, while the "Personalities" column hosts the architect of many municipal buildings and squares of post-war Volos, Panos Tsolakis.

For the "Literature" column, the well-known author Lena Divani has written, exclusively for En Volo, the narrative "Lino and Vamvaki", while in the "Agenda" Column, all the events that took place over this special -olympic summer- in our town are recorded.
