20th issue. Special: "Fashion"

The 20th issue of En Volo completes the magazine's first five year circulation run, with a special on "Fashion", a perpetually changing social phenomenon, and thus one of great interest and charm.

The special features articles that present the transformation of dress, from antiquity to date, as well as the interaction of fashion and art, and the connection between fashion and theatrical costume. Also presented are 20th century Greek and European fashion trends, and they ways in which these were locally adopted. Additionally, a great effort has been made to record, through primary and secondary accounts, the local people and corporations involved in this sector. Lastly, the activities of the Fashion Design Department of the Municipal Art College of Volos and the traditional dress collection of the Lyceum club of Greek women are presented.

The "Memento" column presents textile factory and clothing shop advertisements, and relevant models. The "Literature" Column is dedicated to the recently departed local poet Manolis Ballis, presenting unpublished poems and his under publication collection "Minerva".
The "Personalities" column features Christina Stampolian, a fashion designer from our town, who excels in her field abroad, and has achieved great fame by the creation of a well-known black dress for Lady Diana.

The "Index" column presents the articles of the 16th to 19th En Volo issues, while the "Agenda" column presents the social events of the previous trimester, as well as those scheduled for the next.
