Significant development of the "Volos publications" has occurred since the publication of "En Volo", the Municipality quarterly periodical, first printed in 2001. The Municipality, in cooperation with external associates, has created a publication with content and design constituting a reference point of the city, a publication that has nothing to do with analogous ones of the regional press, given its regularity of circulation for six years now.
The publication of "En Volo" magazine called for the creation of an organized publishing section within DIKI, equipped with technological and human potential substructure able to cope with all the complex requirements of such a modern quality publication.
The publishing department is in position to offer its services to the Municipality on the whole spectrum of its publishing needs. It can also cope with any private or public editing requirement on the sectors of creation, editing and printing, thus broadening its activities beyond the confines of an enterprise with strictly municipal aim.
